It’s hard to believe what a man with no proper and functioning body  an do. It’s rather like a fantasy or straight out of a fiction if you'd ask me. But it is not fiction but real life, Stephen Hawking is one of the famous personality who has done so many unbelievable things. He conquered the obstacles in his life to do what he wants to do....the study of black holes and astrophysics. If you need to be inspired and amazed this is the book for you!

Everyone including Stephen has a special childhood or past memory that helped you build your future...

A peek into Stephen's past life

Stephen Hawking was born on the 8th of January 1942 in Oxford, England....A boy who was soon to be one of the greatest men ever to live.

His family was called an eccentric bunch by a close family friend but they were just like any other family- his father Frank, an alcoholic, his mother Isobel, his two sisters and his adopted brother Edward.

Stephen was a "normal" kid he went to school and as a youth was creative, respectful, lacked dexterity but still did his homework!

Stephen did well in some subjects and focused on some of his favorite subjects-Math' Physics and Chemistry. He loved and physics as a child and why you ask well...  that’s because he loved physics because of the theories. And he was interested in how things worked. His nickname was 'Einstein', despite his poor grades his teachers and his peers seemed to understand that they had a future genius amongst them.

Soon after it was time for college and he faced a problem. Stephen wanted to do physics but his dad was compelling him to do biology and medicine. When everything was sorted out and Stephen was to do physics another problem arose, his parents did not have enough money to send him to Oxford without a scholarship, so Stephen ended up taking an exam and soon after acing it he packed up and left for college.

1963 is turning point in Stephen’s life....he met his future wife Jane Wilde.

They started tests which diagnosed Stephen with ALS(Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis )ALS- Most patients with ALS—also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, for the famous baseball player who succumbed to the disease—are diagnosed after the age of 50 and die within five years of their diagnosis. Hawking's condition was first diagnosed when he was 21, and he was not expected to see his 25th birthday.

Stephen loved to dance but because of his problems he was forced to stop.

Stephen’s past did build his present…..

Stephen now lives in the UK with his family happily inspiring people to become curious and intelligent and what is intelligence - “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.”

Stephen also continues to succeed with his research on black holes with the help of his most well developed technology wheelchair which enables him to speak and perform many other things he could not have done  but most importantly move as Stephen can move only a few fingers on one  hand!

Hawking is well known for his famous books- The Brief History of Time, The Universe in a Nutshell, George’s Cosmic Treasure Hunt and

The Theory Of Everything  are just a few examples.

Stephen travels around giving motivational speeches to help bring curiosity into the younger generation, he says in one of his speeches-

Moving on to…..Stephen’s prediction of the future!!!

In one of his speeches he voices-“The wonderful thing about the future is that it’s not written on stone. We create our lives instant by instant, based on our thoughts, feelings and action. Our only chance of long term survival is not remain lurking on planet Earth, but to spread out into space.”

According to Hawking sending humans to space and other planets will shape the future of the human race in many ways we don’t yet understand, and it also may determine if we do or not have a future at all.”

Hawking also expects complexity to increase at a rapid rate, both in biological and electronic spheres.

Now that you and I know all about the great and majestic Stephen Hawking both of us can tell that he inspires people. And Hawking does not sit around and complain and cry about his problems instead he goes forth to conquer them and to do what he wishes to do-“People won’t have time for you if you are always angry or complaining…..”
