Introduction
Hi! Welcome to my tour of Ladakh. Firstly I would like to dedicate this book to my mom because she was the one who gave me the idea for this topic for my book. I also chose this topic for not very long ago my family and I, along with a couple of friends, took a trip to Ladakh and it was absolutely marvelous! We had a blast!

Now you know why I chose this book, let me ask you a question, when I say the word ‘Ladakh’ what are the first things that come to mind? Is it the most well-known tourist points? Or the best places to get photos for your album? Or maybe just facts about the place that you want to know before you get there? All of that you can find out by hopping up to the nearest computer, phone or tablet and doing a quick google search. In my book I hope to show you more than just that. Have you ever wondered about the places you can go for an adventure?                                                     Or the absolutely spectacular culture that they have?                                                                            Those are what I hope to be able to show you.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you enjoy my feature article!

Adventuring!

If you, like me, are an adventure lover than all you have to do to reach somewhere unexplored is hire a car and drive off to the nearest tall hill. After that, follow your instincts! Go wherever you want and if there is somewhere specific you want to reach you can ask someone for directions, most Ladakhi’s are very pleasant and will be happy to show you on your way.more thing you should definitelymarket. There are many stalls with beautiful jewelry, statues, prayer wheels, clothes, masks and much, much, much more! Turn any which way you want, remembering the path, and find

After a long tiring day of adventuring, what do you want to come home and do? Relax. I’m going to start off my book by telling you the places in Ladakh you can go to do just that!

Ladakh unlike Bangalore is generally a very quiet and relaxing place. Almost anywhere you go you can sit down, enjoy the view and cherish the time you are at Ladakh!

  Culture

Have you ever wondered what sets a place apart? For one, its culture plays a large role. Now I’m going to end my feature article by mentioning Ladakh’s rich culture

Traditional music includes the instruments surna and daman (shenai and drum). The music of Ladakhi Buddhist monastic festivals, like Tibetan music, often involves religious chanting in Tibetan or Sanskrit as part of the religion.

The most popular sport in Ladakh now is ice hockey, which is played only on natural ice generally mid–December through mid–February. Archery is a traditional sport in Ladakh.

Ladakhi costumes have an identity of their own. The * gonchas and tsulmas worn by men and women respectively act as graceful backdrops for the multiple ornaments worn by both men and women

Thank you for taking the time to read my book! J
